This is from a memory I have of spending a few hours in solitude, far from development and in pristine nature on a hot and windless, balmy afternoon, in the almost barren Karoo in the Cape province of South Africa.
Only the few cicadas and dragonflies and gently gurgling water broke the silence.
I wish I could recreate this memory again.
